Terms and Conditions

ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders are processed in numerical sequence. Unpaid orders are not moved to the processing list until payment is received.

CUSTOM ORDERS 

Custom made quilts must be paid in full prior to work commencing. Bed quilts typically take 90-120 days to make; home décor 45-60 days. If you absolutely must have the quilt prior to those time frames, I will work with you to see if I can reasonably accommodate your time frame.

SHIPPING POLICY

Orders are shipped on Fridays via US Postal Service Priority Mail unless Friday is a holiday which moves the shipping date to the day prior. Orders should be received 2-7 business days from the ship date, but that cannot be guaranteed. If you need expedited services, please call 907-230-1943 for a shipping quote. Once your order is picked up by USPS, you will receive a shipping email with a tracking number.

Shipping rates appearing on your order are estimates only.  Shipping charges may increase or decrease to cover the costs of shipping and handling. The risk of loss and title of items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.  We will add insurance at your cost upon request.

RETURN POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Every item we sell is carefully inspected and photographed before shipping to verify its condition. In the unlikely event there are any problems with the merchandise you receive, please contact us within 5 business days at akquilter907@gmail.com. Please include the order number so that we may correctly locate your information to resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve the issue, we may at our discretion, issue a written approval to return the item for store credit only. Any return will incur a restocking fee at 50% of the purchase price as once the item leaves our control, we can no longer be responsible for its condition and it will be restocked as a clearance item. No returns will be accepted without prior written approval from Alaska Quilt Works and the item must be returned within 10 days of the return approval date. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

PRICING, PRODUCT DESCRIPTION, OR OTHER ERRORS

We make every attempt to post product descriptions and pricing accurately. However, we cannot warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are error-free. Despite our best efforts, there is always the possibility an item may be mispriced. If an item's price is in error, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

YOUR ACCOUNT

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use this site only with involvement of a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk. Alaska Quilt Works, LLC., including its owners and assigns, will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or from any information, content, materials, products or services included on or otherwise made available to you through this site.

OUR PRIVACY / SECURITY POLICY

We understand your concern with privacy and security and have established a strict policy for your protection. We will never share your personal information and will only use it to notify you of order status or an announcement regarding our website. We use SSL encryption for all secure portions of the website. Our checkout process masks your credit card information. It is visible only to the card processor during the short authorization period.

COMMUNICATION POLICY

Emails to akquilt907@gmail.com should immediately receive an auto-reply stating the email has been received. If you do not receive the auto-reply, something has gone wrong and we did not receive your mail. Please try again or contact us at 907-230-1943. We strive to personally respond to your email within 48 hours. If we do not, it is signal we may not have received your mail.

We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these Conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining conditions.
